I have this issue too. Couldn’t bulk remove a rule when it broke another plugin.
@jamiebaker, since I never received a response from the plugin creator or anyone else in the forum, I just started from scratch by resetting the plugin which is located in the tools tab.
Unfortunately, this was the only solution I found to remove any bulk rules.
thanks for your response. I’ll try that
unfortunately this didn’t work for me, and neither did uninstalling the plugin. It seems to leave some files/options behind even when the plugin is uninstalled?
@jamiebaker, unfortunately, I don’t know what else to suggest. The reset in the tools, option of reset everything “settings”, all unloads (bulk and per page) and load exceptions worked for me. I hope you find a resolution…
I loved the idea of This AssetCleanup plugin, and it was doing what it was supposed to do, but didn’t play well with some other plugins that I need, sadly. Anyway, @mickdodge Thank you for your help!
@jamiebaker, you’re more than welcome. Sorry it didn’t work out for you 🙁
@mickdodge @jamiebaker you were right about that! My sincere apologies for this inconvenience, and for not getting back to you sooner! I’ve tested it, and indeed this is not an isolated case.
This is fixed now, and you can update to the latest version.
PS: I want to offer you a Pro license for Asset CleanUp. If you are still interested in the plugin, you can write to me privately, providing some details about your website (e.g. to make sure that the request comes from you), and I will arrange a special coupon code so you would get an 100% discount.
Thank you for your response @gabelivan . I am interested in your plugin, but at the moment I am still trying to figure out how to correct whatever it has done to break other plugins (ice gram express/email subscribers). It appears to have left some settings behind, but I cannot find them. Do you have any suggestions of where I should look to tidy up?
