I managed to get the “Home” link to disappear, but only by getting rid of “pre-header” menu.

I would like to only see pre-header menu because it aligns so nicely with social media links at top of page.

It would be really useful to have some more info. Can you please setup your pre-header (if that’s what you want) then describe what you don’t want. It might be easier for us to help to get rid of the extras as right now I’m not 100% sure on the best solution.
If you have screenshot of what you’re after that would also be helpful. 🙂

I wanted to have the pre-header only, and to get rid of the main menu,… but since I discovered that the pre-header does not show up when the site is viewed on a cell phone, I decided to just keep things the way they are…

Ok, I get it. This gets a little tricky because you have a logo on your site. Did you still want the logo to show? If not then yo can use the following custom css. Just add it to your site by going to General Settings -> Custom CSS:
#logo,
#header-links {
display: none;
}
Now you can assign you Pre Header. Also, do assign a Main Header menu as this will be used when outputting the responsive menu.

I am testing with this theme and I would like to remove the home links and display a 468 x 60 banner ad.
The above removes the logo as well but I understand that I need the main menu for the mobile site.
On the mobile site, the pre header menu does not show but the social links do?
