Cannot remove widget

I cannot remove any of my widgets. I played with it for a while, then decided not to use the widget, but go back to the original HTML codes.

In my horror, I realized that I cannot remove any of the elements! It was okay in the past, but not now!

Can this be fixed? My blog is now looking very horrible, due to the usage of the widgets…
