Sure you can replace or add any image that you want, just drag the widget from the panel into the page.

I can confirm that adding or editing the images does not work. Savoy theme, woocommerce active, I have disabled visual composer and other plugins.
I can add the module on page-post-portfolio, I just can’t add any image. On ‘Add image’ click I get some js errors in chrome.

I would love to make it work since I have some personal issues with vcomposer…

It seems like a conflict with other plugins in your system.
Try to disable all of your plugins and see if it helps.
That’s it. I have disabled all the plugins and it’s working. I have also found the culprit:
It’s http://mihajlovicnenad.com/frontend-shop-manager/. Great plugin, but I guess there’s some js conflict between the plugins. I would really love to make it work though! Any ideas?

or the premium version?
Because the free version wasn’t updated for more than a year, and maybe this causes the issue.

It happened to me too.
The elementor sopped to work with images. It does nothing when trying to upload images to gallery.
I have tried to disable plugins’ it didn’t help.
Everything was OK; Galleries are still working, but I can’t add new images.
