Cannot restrict video playback

    I am embedding videos on my site (my own dowmain, not my wordpress blog) and wish to allow the videos only to appear on my site (http://training.toppers.com).

    On the media settings page I CHECKED ‘Allow people to embed videos on other websites’ and entered ‘training.toppers.com’ into the Restrict embed playback field.

    I then edited the video in WP and UNCHECKED the ‘Display embed code and allow external sites to embed this video’ checkbox.

    While the video plays on my site, it also plays on a site at a different domain (www.ecodecycle.com). My understanding is that it should not play on any other domain, and I don’t want it to play on any other domain.

    Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?. Thank you!

    What version of WordPress are you using? There is no ‘Allow people to embed videos on other websites’ option in WP 2.9.2.

    This is where I get confused. I am hosting the videos on my wordpress.com site, but wanting them to play on my own domain, not in a wordpress blog.

    This forum is for self-hosted WordPress sites. Try asking your question on http://en.forums.wordpress.com/
