    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Can you please be a little bit more specific here? What’s happening when you are trying to add or edit tables? Are you getting error messages?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

no, deleting the tablepress folder is safe, as the table data is stored in the database.

    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,
I managed to get it working.
When I logged in it would still not let me create new rows in my existing tables. On the off chance I decided to try and create a new table, which I was able to do. I had full control
over this table – I could add new rows and delete it.

After this I went back to my old tables and found that I could now add rows! So it seems to be all working again. So I am very pleased!
    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    Zephyr

that’s good news! Not sure what could have caused this then, but great to hear that everything’s working again!

    Hi,

hhm, I don’t see a different post from you here in the forums…

My assumption than is that something is constantly altering the internal table data. This could be another plugin, but it could also be a hacker attack (by an automated script).
Can you maybe investigate the internal table data in the database after it is corrupted? That is stored in entries that have a post_type of tablepress_table in the wp_options database table.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,
Thank you very much for your support. Yes, it is quite likely to have been some sort of hacker attack. I will check post_type of tablepress_table in the wp_options if it happens again. It seems to behaving itself for now.

    Do you accept BitCoin?
    Thank you.
    Best regards,

    Hi,

sounds good! If it’s a hacker attack, they’ll most likely have appended some HTML code for spam links to the beginning or end of the table JSON data.

And yes, Bitcoins are also greatly appreciated! 🙂 See https://tablepress.org/donate/bitcoins/
