Cannot save theme options

    I have installed Avada R2.1.1 Theme in WP 4.1.1 and cannot save the theme options any more nore can I upgrade the theme. When I try to save the connection brakes off (the site seems to hang itself up). When I then try to access it through http the site appears with a lot of error messages in between the lines. wp-login does not work anymore, then. I then have to go in through ftp and restore the directory completely to get it back running.

    After copying the site to a clean server it worked again. Unfortunately, I got to get the site back to normal on the server, which it is running on now (german provider called 1&1).

    Any ideas out there what to do? Me (and the hotline and 1&1) are a bit clueless 😉

    The current version of your theme is Avada v3.3

    You need to upgrade your version and then see what happens.

    We have tried to upgrade, the upgrade works, but we still cannot save the Theme Options. So we have restored the old version.

    Guys,

    after I go into WordPress, modify Theme Options , save any options, then reload the page – these below are the error messages I get.

    It seems to me that some header and footer information keep crashing.

    Any ideas?
