Cannot search for post/pages when adding link in a post/page

    Hi,

    When i am inside a post or page and click the “add link” icon in the editor, i get a option to search for post/pages i want to add a link to. But when i try to search for a page/post i know exists, the search return “nothing found”. Now, i know this option has worked in the past, so does anybody know what the problem might be?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Hi,

    No, and i was hoping not to. This is a live website and it depends on many of the plugins to run. I was hoping some other WP users might have experienced the same problem, and that he or she might know what’s causes the problem.

    This is basic troubleshooting – a process of elimination.
