I love the plugin but all of a sudden I’ve lost the ability to change the text and title of the form. I’m using template 5 but I think I updated the html of the text and it’s caused the problem. Though I can’t see the text to fix it.

When I check the html I find lots of <a href=”<div” snippets which would break the html and the style your form field has lost its <div class=”trigger”.

So something has stopped working but I get no errors so I can’t debug it.

If I change the template then I lose the text. If I save with a different template then come back and try template #5 again I get the same problem.

An example is at the bottom of http://fit2thrive.co.uk/products/energy-matters/

I’m thinking I could simply update the db but I’d rather not though I can’t see an optinform type table in the db.

Loving the plugin but I’m suddenly frustrated.

  • Hi colchambers,

So the text fields in the administration area are broken on your installation? Is this correct?

Do you remember what changed that resulted in this change? Did you install any plugins that could be creating a conflict? You can deactivate those plugins temporarily, and see whether that solves the issue.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to help you without taking a look myself. If you want me to take a look, please create a temporary admin user and send me the login details through http://codeleon.com/contact

    Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response. I’ve emailed you a temporary admin. The last thing I remember doing was adding a link to the message text. I can imagine it wasn’t correctly closed or something which may have caused the issues.

It could be another plugin but wouldn’t that affect all the templates instead of just this one?

    Hi Colin,

all fixed now. It was a stray HTML tag in the subtitle.

You can delete the admin user now 🙂

Many thanks boris. That was a very quick turn around. Glad to be using optin forms
