    Hi,

    I’ve used the combination of the Translate Press Plugin and AI Translation Addon on a different website, but now it’s giving me a hickup. I’ve installed and activated both plugins. In my settings of the Translate press plugin the selected languages are English and Dutch. I cannot find any settings to tweak in the AI addon plugin.

    The website is in Dutch, so when translating a page I select ‘English’ in step 1 of the translator. Then I press the Auto Translate button and go to Yandex. It opens the screen, but I cannot choose a language. So it just gives met Dutch to Dutch, which of course is not what I intended.

    Why does the scroll down menu with languages not appear in the pop-up? Have I missed something in my settings?

    Thanks in advance!
    Mirjam

    Thanks for your response. I’m probably doing something wrong. I have included a video. I’m not sure what you mean by sharing site environment? I can’t give you access, it’s a client’s site.

    Hi @mirage,

    We tested it with your scenario, and it is working fine on our end, as shown in the video. Could you please share any errors appearing in the console?

    Alternatively, you can try the following debugging steps to identify the specific error. Please refer to the documentation for more detailed instructions, or follow the steps below:

    Add the following lines to your wp-config.php file if not already present:

     define('WP_DEBUG', true);
      define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
      define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

    The errors will be logged in wp-content/debug. log on and activate the plugin.
    Please share any error messages found in debug.log so that we can assist you further.

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi, thanks for your efforts. I’m not getting an error message in the console. It just doesn’t give me the option to choose ‘english’ in the penultimate step of the process (in Yandex). I’m asking my colleague about the debug.log and will get back to you about that.

    Hi,

    I think I’ve finally figured it out. It’s not your plugin that’s the problem, but Translate Press itself. I cannot seem to access all settings necessary for automatic translation, even though they should be available for my plan. So I’m going to ask Translate Press to take a look.

    Thank you so much for your help!

    Best regards,

    Mirjam
