Cannot Send from Gmail Using WordPress Domain name

    I am using WordPress to route email from my blog to a gmail account (in this case (name)@leadshepherd.org to (name)@gmail.com. The gmail account belongs to my assistant. My assistant is not listed on the blog as an administrator or user of any kind. She is able to receive email at the address leadshepherd.org which routes quite nicely into her gmail account. How I do not know as she says she did not get an email from WordPress. So far so good. The problem we are having is configuring gmail to allow her to send email using the @leadshepherd.org address. Gmail keeps asking for a password. So what password is it asking for? My WordPress account password? Thanks for any help.

    Follow up: she did receive a confirmation email from WordPress. I was under the impress that she needed to forward it to me so I could verify the email forwarding as an administrator but when I open the link I am taking to my dashboard and told something along the lines of “cannot verify re-sending verification email.” Hhmmm?
