    Hi Michael,

I’ve set hierarchical to true and supports: page attributes but when I go to the post created in that cpt, page attributes doesn’t show any dropdown any ideas what’s causing this? thanks

    Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/eJn4-uUXwAYs

I want to have the permalink as domain.com/help-center/account/topic

(initially I thought creating a taxonomy will allow me to use it (account) as a part of the permalink but i don’t think I can so I created a post under the help-center cpt)

    Thanks

Just out of curiosity, do you have more than 1 post PUBLISHED for this post type? It doesn’t allow for setting a parent when the intended parent is still a draft, or show the UI with only 1 post total.

Hi Michael, I was just about to delete the post (but I can’t figure out how apparently it’s not allowed to delete a post in the forum) because I finally found out that it was because I only have 1 published page. Basically, yesterday when I did this I had two posts there, 1 in the screenshot, and another one that is draft. I editing the draft but I couldn’t find the dropdown from the page attributes so I thought it wasn’t working. After this post, I thought I’d give it a shot to create an “Account” post and now it’s working (I can see the dropdown) even prior to publishing the “Account” post.

Anyway, thanks for getting back super fast!

Another question, why does my CPT slug always revert back to domain.com/help_center when viewing an actual post from that cpt even when I set it to has archive: true -> help-center (scr shot: http://prntscr.com/qYZN_7wYtDJD)

However, i’m able to view domain.com/help-center and it doesn’t revert back to domain.com/help_center

    Thanks

I’d set the rewrite slug field to the dashed version as well. If I recall right, the field you used above is just for the base archive, not the permalinks across the board. That said, I think setting the rewrite slug would also handle the base archive, but I haven’t tested that to prove it. Setting both will be fine.
