Cannot setup JetPack – cURL error 18

    Hi,

    I’m in the process of setting up a new website and I’ve gone to install JetPack and I am getting the following error:

    The Jetpack server was unable to communicate with your site https://celeb-media.com [IXR -32300: transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 18: transfer closed with outstanding read data remaining]

    Can anyone help with this?

    Hi there,

    This is a connection error. Contact your hosting provider and ask them to unblock your xmlrpc.php file. This is needed for Jetpack to connect to WordPress.com.

    If the XMLRPC file is unblocked and you’re still getting this error, make sure to disable any security plugins you might have installed and try again.
