    Hi there.

First of all, thank you so much for the awesome plugin that you provide for free.

Secondly, is it still not possible to change the display order of attributes within groups? I think someone mentioned it more than a year ago, and I was hoping it would be possible by now πŸ™‚

For example, in the link I provided, “Flammability” needs to be the first attribute under the “General” group.

    Maybe I’m missing something?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out,

Currently you can re-order attributes in Attributes groups list page, there’s a small “up/down” icon which you can click and re-order attributes, however there’s currently a bug that after re-ordering you need to re-save the product as well, but this is being worked on and will be fixed in the upcoming release.

Also we are working on improving the UX to make attribute re-ordering more accessible, since a lot of users might not easily find this in its current placement.

Thank you so much for getting back to me!

You’re giving me hope, as I might just be missing something. Re-saving a product at this stage isn’t that big an issue, as we’re still in the development phase, and minimal products are loaded while we get the spec tables right – I just don’t want to do it once 500 product are loaded by next year. lol

Okay, so I just don’t see these arrows you’re talking about. Am I using the correct navigation “flow”?

I go to Specs. Tables >> Attributes >> Then click on the attributes group, like “General”. Within that group I can then see all attributes assigned to that group, but no arrows.

Hello, sorry for the confusion, the arrow icon is in “Attribute Groups” page and not attributes.
In the left menu You should navigate to Specs. tables > Groups and then find the group that holds your attributes, and then re-order them using the up/down arrow icon in actions column.

I’d be happy to help if further information is needed.

That’s a shame. So re-ordering the attributes is not an option. You can reorder groups, not attributes. Thank you for your help.

    Hello @outboxed

Sorry if previous instruction has caused confusion for you.

The instructions I have posted earlier are to re-order attributes and not groups.

Groups contain multiple attributes, so by clicking the “up/down arrow” icon mentioned previously, you can re-order the attributes inside a given group.

Please check the Specs. tables > Groups menu, and click on the below button as seen in the screenshot, a popup will open which you can re-order attributes by dragging them up and down. and then click “Update arrangement” and it will be saved.

Please note that as mentioned initially, there is a bug that for products that already have specification tables assigned to them, they need to be re-saved.
