Is it still sending you emails? Try to reactivate the plugin and change the settings so that no email notifications are sent and then deactivate and delete it.
Are you still having an issue? if so let me know the domain and i will remove all alerts.

Thank you both. I was receiving the alert emails for days after deleting and then suddenly stopped receiving them. I didn’t actually do anything except post this here. Very strange, but I’m happy. Thanks again for the responses.
Josh, if you see this, can you try to shut off alerts for me? I wasn’t getting any but occasionally I get one. I just got an alert tonight, 30 minutes ago. Very strange. Folkstar.net.

I am actually only getting notifications when sites go up, not when they go down.
