After submitting the form, I see the ajax loading gif and nothing else – no email, no confirmation message – nothing.

WordPress can send email when users are registered. So, that part is working.

With all plugins disabled, the same thing happend – loading gif and nothing else.

I went through this page suggestions and still nogo.

I spent hours on this one bug and tried what I found in this forum, even changing the MAIL > Subject tab to something else – still nogo.

    Please help.

Or, perhaps you have a recommendation for another plugin. But, this plugin came with the template that included the Cherry Framework template.

    Thank you in advance.

It seems that this is not resolved because I see many many folks with the same problem. It’s too bad this is so widespread with no resolution except to blame other plugins, programs, servers – anything but this plugin itself.

To recap, their troubleshooting pages says,

    1. Hosting Issues – This is not the issue because the site sends email when new users are registered.
    2. Ensure proper return address is used – Ditto above.
    3. Your email may be treated as spam – Nope. See #1.
    4. Plugin or Theme Conflicts – contact form 7 came with theme. With all plugins that are not required by the theme disabled, the problem persists.
    5. Javascript Conflicts – – contact form 7 came with theme. With all plugins that are not required by the theme disabled, the problem persists.

This explains a lot. You are using an irregular version of the plugin.

    Thanks for your response.

I uninistalled the plugin and the reinstalled Contact Form 7.
Still it doesn’t work – same symptoms.

BTW – What do you mean, “irregular form”? Do you mean a “modified version”?
