I have CrocoBlock theme, JetEngine and other Jet plugins, and Elementor installed on my website. I have been using WPML but I’m trying to migrate to TranslatePress. In the translation page, I can click and translate some of the strings successfully. However, I cannot translate elementor headings, any of the plugin widgets in Elementor, or even the default Gutenberg paragraphs. The edit icon doesn’t show. Also the strings do not show, although some are available and I’m able to translate the ones that do show.

    Things I tried:

    • I opened the checkbox Advanced > Debug > Show regular strings tab in String Translation option, and I am able to see all of my strings in the String translation page. They appear, I can translate them from there, but they do not show on the frontend.
    • I tried translating by directly changing database entries. Translations I make from the database show in the String Translation pane. And translations I make from the String Translation show in database. Each of them do show with status 2, which means they are published.

There are no errors showing on the console. What should I do? I have full access to the backend , VPS and all php/database configs.

    Hi,

    — They appear, I can translate them from there, but they do not show on the frontend.
Do you mean the translations don’t appear at the front-end, or the strings are not displayed at all on the additional languages? If the first one, it could be becasue of caching. Make sure you clear it or try view the page in the incognito mode.
If the second, please give us the direct link and highlight the strings that are missing.
