Cannot uncheck ‘upload_files’

    Hi,

    I seem not be able to uncheck the ‘upload_files’ capability for the user roles customer and shop_keeper. Every time I uncheck those capabilities, save it and refresh the page, the system somehow checks them again.
    What is causing this and how can it be resolved? It is so frustrating.

    My aim in trying to uncheck those capabilities, is to have more control over how a registered user uploads a single, simple image file from their computer.

    In other words, I want an interface DIFFERENT to the one shown here when uploading an image file from their computer:

    If you have enabled Media in the “Type-Specific Capabilities” box, you’ll need to uncheck both “upload files” in the lower section and “Media > Create” in the upper section before saving.

    BTW, this response is to answer your question about how to remove the upload files capability. However, your desire for an entirely different upload interface will not be covered by this plugin.
