Cannot uninstall

    Need to uninstall to check conflict with another menu plugin
    Have deactivated first, mega menu options still show in items added to menu
    Then uninstalled thinking this may remove all code, but options are still showing in menu items!!!

    Seems this plugin changes WP nav menu code and doesn’t remove when de-activated or even uninstalled….

    Not able to check if this is the plugin causing conflict but with the results so far it most likely is.

    Any suggestions in how to replace WP nav menu code back to original???

    Hi daihlo,

    Are you sure the mega menu options you’re seeing aren’t from the other menu plugin, or your theme? Can you post a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

    MMM doesn’t make any changes to your site code, if you deactivate it all of the code is deactivated too.

    pretty sure yes.
    The other plugin just sets access permissions.
    I have de-activated, even uninstalled mega menu.
    In menu options, the option to enable in left column has now gone, but any items I add to any menu, still show the mega menu options…

    I can even uninstall the plugin after setting up a mega menu, and the mega menu will still appear on the site!.. just doesn’t seem to actually uninstall properly. just removes the options in admin but everything else stays the same.

    not sure theres an option here to upload an image?

    Heres a link to screen shot. Will delete once sorted as site still in early build…

    This is after deactivating and uninstalling the plugin, still shows mega menu options in each item added to menus.

    I can also still set these to show the mega menu and it still shows on the front end of the site even after deleting the plugin!

    No idea why this would happen…

    Hi daihlo,

    Thanks for posting a screenshot. Those options are not from Max Mega Menu (Max Mega Menu only adds a blue “mega menu” button which appears when you hover over a menu item).

    I suspect those are options are built in to your theme (you can check that by switching theme and seeing if they disappear).

    I just assumed the mega menu ref was from the plugin!
