Hi Alex,
Have you Deleted the plugin completely from you site?
There is a difference between (Deactivate and Uninstall) so if you Delete the plugin, that will result on removing all post meta and plugin settings from database.
I’ve just tested the Uninstall function, it does remove post meta and plugin settings. It’s working for me as it should.
The plugin won’t be able to output anything if it’s deactivated ( and of course is Uninstalled), so the duplicated markup is certainly generated by something else. I can’t think of another possibility.
When you install and activate the plugin again (or for the first time), it will start to produce the markup again, it will actually prepare itself to output the markup for you, even though you haven’t configured any settings, so that’s why you see it (again).
If you have selected the option to remove plugin data on Uninstall, and you’ve deleted the plugin but this didn’t work for you. Then maybe something went wrong, I hope you can find anything useful about this error in your error logs.
I highly recommend that you don’t try new plugins on your live site, or make sure to backup your database before installing any new plugins.
Yes I have tried every combination, I deactivated it and I also deleted (uninstalled) it.
When the plugin is gone, the duplicate issue is there, when it is active the markup just shows the one from my other schema plugin. So it is working exactly the other way round as it should. How can I remove it? I really just want to uninstall it completely but it is not possible. Please help me with that.
