Cannot Unstall WPFORO
-
I cannot uninstall WPFORO to do a clean install.
If I click on uninstall I get a pop-up telling me it’s not a simple deactivation. If I click on OK, nothing happens. WPFORO is still active, the forum and all posts are still available and so is all the configuration information.
I want to do a clean install of the plugin, but I can’t.

Hi jjacoberger,
are you sure that wpForo post exist? Where you check it? It should remove all tables so you should not have any chance to see wpForo content. Are you sure you click on Yes button when it prompt a message.
Please let me know where you see wpForo posts…-

When I click on uninstall, yes, I click on OK. The plugin remains active and the dashboard and all configuration is still available. The forum is still active and available from the front end browser. You can see that it still works at the url: http://www.doylestownphotoclub.org/community
Something wrong is with you WP installation, it returns this when we try to access to website: https://www.screencast.com/t/2Wkz9eKvF
1. Please disable all plugins excerpt wpForo and then click on Uninstall button
2. If this doesn’t work, please delete wpForo folder in
/wp-content/plugins/directory using FTP client or cPanel File Manager. Then execute this SQL in cPanel > phpMAdmin > Your WP Database > SQL Tab (make sure the table prefix is correct, this exaple is with wp_ ):DROP TABLE wp_wpforo_accesses, wp_wpforo_forums, wp_wpforo_languages, wp_wpforo_likes, wp_wpforo_phrases, wp_wpforo_posts, wp_wpforo_profiles, wp_wpforo_subscribes, wp_wpforo_topics, wp_wpforo_usergroups, wp_wpforo_views, wp_wpforo_votes;-

That message was from firewall blocking….I turned it off.
Disabling all plugins allowed the uninstall to work.
After the clean install, I added one test post to the default main category forum. The Edit and Delete buttons worked. I logged out of the site, logged back in, and now I can post to the forum, but the edit and delete buttons are no longer working. Apparently a completely clean install did not resolve the problem of those functions not working
I think you have JS errors on website and they affects wpForo functions. Please disable all CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA plugins, it seems you have more than one CAPTCHA plugin installed, it affects user registration form, we can’t register to check the issue.
CAPTCHA/reCAPTCHA are disabled now.
Please approve the “Support” account.
it is approved
It changed our password or so, not it says the Username or Password is incorrect. Please check all again, login and test it works then send this user login details to support[at]gvectors.com email address.
Confirmed login. Private e-mail send with credentials
new corrected e-mail sent
We don’t see errors yet.
Could you please disable Rich Editor extender plugin? We see the editor is not wpForo default editor. Then delete cache and test it again. If it doesn’t helped, disable all plugins and test it again.I disabled tinyMCE advanced, deleted all cache and edit and delete did not work.
I disabled all plugins except wpforo, deleted all cache and edit and delete did not work.
After I did the completely clean install yesterday, edit worked one time, then stopped.
Could you please do that again, I still see tinyMCE advanced buttons. And please disable other plugins as well. Then test it again.
Once it worked, activate plugins one by one and check twice after each activation.
If it had worked even once it means it works well, the issue is you plugins and wrong configuration. Try to find the working point again with the steps I mentioned above.I will have to do a clean install again to try that, as disabling all plugins now does not make a difference. I will update after I install again with no other plugins enabled.
