• Since I’ve updated to 4.5.2 I am unable to make any changes to the settings. I keep getting the circle loading but nothing ever comes up (in the case of media) or does not process when I hit the save button. I’ve recently added the Give plug-in and that seemed to upset everything for a while until I realized that some of the modules in JetPack had a conflict. The Give folks are working that issue. Anyway…. I can post new threads but that is it.

All error messages go to this page – regardless of what I’m doing. Just interchange the actual address.

The web page at http://www.scer-ga.org/wp-admin/customize.php?theme=rubbersoul&return=%2Fwp-admin%2Fthemes.php might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

I’m WP dumb so need lots of assistance.

Hello? Anyone out there that can assist? I’ve just updated to 4.5.3 and still having the same issues. I would love to have functionality restored but cannot afford to lose all content again.

    can you deactivate all plugins?

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php
