WordPress version: 5.8.2
PHP version: PHP 7.2.24
I will be updating this to 7.4 or higher.

I tried updating the WooCommerce Multi-currency plugin & reCaptcha for Woocommerce today and got the following error:
“Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.”

Might this be relating to my PHP version? What version of PHP is recommended before updating?

We are using Really Simple SSL plugin. Not sure if this is affecting it. I’m going to update PHP to version 7.4 and see if this makes any difference

Any pointers are much appreciated.

Hi there,
Thanks for the info already provided.
To take a better look, I’d need to kindly ask you to provide for the following:
* A copy of your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.
* Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).
That would help. Thanks.
