Cannot Update Settings Until Connected

    The plugin after setup is fine, no complaints after setup.

    The main issue that prevents me from using this plugin now and in the future is that you cannot edit settings until Google Analytics has been connected or you go through their setup wizard. This means that if you’re a website administrator and give limited Editor access to your users, you will not be able to allow those same Editors to log in and connect their own Google Analytics account.

    As far as I can tell there’s no reason to prevent updating settings until a Google Analytics account is connected, especially permission settings. Because this plugins makes it difficult to update settings I won’t be using it any time soon and do not recommend it.

    Hi there,
    That’s an interesting usecase and one we didn’t anticipate. I wish you had reached out to us prior to writing a review for it, but in any case we’ll definitely update our plugin to allow that in the next major version
