Updating plugin doesn’t require any account unless you are using Pro version. Note though that we cannot support Pro version here. For a Pro version support please open support ticket with us at

However, if the plugin was in Pro version but you are trying to move to free version instead:
1. look into “Plugins -> All plugins” page and disable the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin from there first
2. if you don’t see it there, access your site’s WordPress install via FTP, cPanel “File Manager” or similar way and there:
– go to “/wp-content/plugins” page
– find “wpmudev-updates” folder
– and delete it
– if there’s any cache on site or server – fully clear it
3. that should be enough to turn plugin to free version but if it doesn’t:
– go to “Forminator -> Settings -> Data” page
– switch “Uninstallation” option to “Preserve”
– click “Save Settings”
– go to “Plugins -> All plugins”, disable Forminator and delete it
– then simply install and activate plugin again via the “Plugins -> Add new” page.
