Cannot Update to 2.7

    I have been unable to update Display Widgets to the 2.7. It says it updated, but after refreshing, it goes back to 2.5

    What is the best way to update to 2.7

    Also, is now that you sold the widget. Who did you sell it to?

    Is there there another plugin that would work that I can get updates from in the future?

    I have the same problem. Update not possible.

    I think it updates, but since it was taken down, it will no show it it updated. the actually ver is 2.05

    It updates, I read that you just need to change the version number to 2.7 in the file

    Can you please release a 2.7.1 with the correct version number in the header?

    I am very confused, but see there are problems with display widget.
    The WP dashboard says to update, and yet the update says it updated, but then reverts back to ‘need to update’. Now I read that I am better off using dw ver 2.05, which I am fine with staying with as it wasn’t broken… and I run a couple huge sites using this widget extensively.
    So how do I know exactly what version I have installed? WP says it is 2.05 do I trust I am not infecting my sites the new update?

    It updates, but it uses the 2.05.zip file, not the 2.7.zip file as it should do.
    Wordpress must change this. This is from update details:
    Downloading update from https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/display-widgets.2.05.zip…
