• Hi,

Yesterday everything was working fine, but now when I upload new images

This prompted me Error Message: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/08.

I have done the basic Troubleshooting and I also tried to change the Permission in FileZilla but nothing happens.

Can someone for help me? I’ve check almost all the thread regarding this kind of issue but no specific resolution.

@esmi will just direct the customer to the master list link created by Jan.

To clarify, are you uploading images via FTP or via the WordPress Add media interface?

    WordPress Add media Interface.

Check your uploads path in Dashboard, Settings, Media, Store uploads in this folder . . . normally this would be blank.
    – Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777.

Hi. I’m new to WordPress and I’m also getting error messages when I try to upload images to my media library.

When I use the multi-file uploader, I get this error message: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/content/39/10998939/html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-imagick.php on line 355.

When I use the browser uploader, I get this error message: Internal Server Error: The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request…

I followed the Dashboard-Settings-Media path referenced in the last post, but I didn’t see any options about where to store uploads. As you can probably tell by know, I’m not very tech savvy, so I’d greatly appreciate a dumbed down response.

    Thanks!

I have the same issue worpress v 3.9.2 doe see under settings option to set the store upload folders

    Get this error
The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/08

Have tried all suggested actions – changing folder permission, changing wp-config

    please help

@jasmeek and @bkolnick, to get full attention to your specific issue, my suggestion would be to start your own thread. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. To get the best attention to your specific issue as you deserve, please review how and where to post in this forum: http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post
