Hi! I have a problem with uploading files to my posts. I have just changed my domain name on the same server, so i transferred my blog to a new domain. Now everything seems to be working besides Media Library. I cannot upload any files, after uploading I get the following error message.

The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/oracles2/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2010/05.

    Thanks.

I’ve tried all the items in the link you provided, but I am still receiving the same error. Do you have any other suggestions. I need to be able to upload media files.

Could it be a folder permissions issue?

Doesn’t appear to be a permissions issue.

Are the URLs in Settings/General reflecting your new domain?

I have a suggestion for you. Navigate to:

Settings: Media, and check the upload url… I created mine on a Freehost and then transferred my own domain. (http://www.tutorialjunkie.co.cc).

But when I first installed with elephante or fernado ( I think that is how you spell it.) It was point to the subdomain created when I registered a new acccount… So If your Upload URI is this:

    something.somehost.com/wp-content/uploads

    Change it to this:

    yourdomain.com/wp-content/uploads

Remember NOT to put the trailing slash at the end of your URI.

Hope this helped. This helped me a lot when I figured this out.
