    Hi guys,

Been getting errors with backing up to Dropbox. I’ve checked dropouts and there seems to be no current issues. I was having problems with port 443 errors but I seem to have solved that by setting higher limits in htacccess for timeouts and fileesize via php_value. Check with my host and they say no changes have been made.

This is the first time I’ve ever had issues with this.

0412.876 (1) Cloud backup selection (1/1): dropbox with instance (1/1) (last)

    Hi,

Can you re-authenticate your Dropbox remote storage?
After re-authentication, can you run a test backup and see if you get the same error.

    Regards,

I have 1.16.17, which is the latest version according to this page (WP is not telling me there is a new version available).

    Hi,

Do you by the way have any caching or security plugins installed on your site? How about on your on your server? If there is, can you try to temporarily deactivate? Also re-authenticate and run a new backup.

    Regards,
    Bryle

There is no caching or security plugins on the site nor on the server. I have tried re authenticating a couple of times.

    Hi,

I have consulted my colleague and said that the message indicates that the CURL request is timing out. Could you check with your hosts to see why that is?

    Regards,
    Bryle
