Cannot upload via FTP

    I’m using Filezilla to upload my files to the host server. I wanted to upload three images, so I navigated to wp-content>uploads>2014>5 (I had three sub-folders in 2014: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5). The upload was successful but it’s not showing those pictures in my media library.

    Please help.

    Manually adding files to the file system will not list them in the media library (as you’ve found out). Try this plugin, it may help you out.

    Thanks, that worked. I thought it’ll work directly from FTP.
