Cannot use 'resend' error occurs.

Hello, when using the resend link on the mail log it come up with this error,
5.1.3 Bad recipient address syntax
It also looks like the email address is being altered when it’s pulled from the DB. Here is an example of what the email address looks like after clicking resend,
s:43:”a:1:{i:0;s:25:”[email protected]”;}”
