First off, why are the styles being applied with “!important”? That is bad practice and is stopping me from adding style to the slider.

Secondly, why can I not choose a transparent color for the container background? Users will almost always want a transparent background, at least in my experience.

Otherwise great work! I find the limitations on the lite version a bit laughable, but still a solid plugin.

    Hello morolo

    re:

Normally that may be true – for coders – but because the skins style sheets are able to be edited from the plugins dashbaord with all of the style and payout settings “important” is required so that the style that users make is not over ridden by the themes style classes.

All the settings are built into the plugin so that non coders (and coders) can make own style and layout for the skin with the settings.

You can set ‘transparent’ for any of the colour settings. Just click on the colour selector and type in the word

    transparent

    morolo that means for example

change #FFFFFF to transparent and Save changes.

I hope that information helps you and if it has – please change the topic status to resolved. Thank you. Steve
