Canonical SIte URL – .com versus .com/
-
Hi,
I set my site URL in the Settings of WordPress as
WordPress Address (URL)
https://www.nwcorporatelaw.com
Site Address (URL)
https://www.nwcorporatelaw.comYoast SEO plugin is then generating my site URL as
https://www.nwcorporatelaw.comHowever, when I run a site audit at SEMrush, I get the error message that my Sitemap includes duplicate URLs. The duplicate URL in question is
https://www.nwcorporatelaw.comI asked SEMrush support about this, and they said my canonical URL is actually set as
https://www.nwcorporatelaw.com/
When I go tohttps://www.nwcorporatelaw.comin my browser, the link appears as such (.com) but when I click on and highlight the URL in browser, it turns to .com/Is there any way to fix this discrepancy?
Thanks,
Derek
