    Hi,

    I see the following weird problem with Directorist directory plugin.

    Here is an example that will give you an idea.

    The url is -> domain.tld/single-category/attractions/?directory_type=general

    In the Seo Framework block, the canonical shows as

    <!-- The SEO Framework by Sybre Waaijer -->
     <link rel="canonical" href="https://www.discovervenice.eu/single-category/" />

    Any ideas why and what it can do with search engines indexing?

    Thank you!

    This Gutenberg implementation here is … what can i say … problematic. Took me 4 edits to make it right.

    Hi Dimal,

    Let’s first tackle the most important issue here:

    1. Go to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/users/myprofilename/edit/, where myprofilename needs to be changed with your profile name.
    2. Check “Disable the Block Editor for new topics and replies”
    3. Hit “Update Profile.”

    The Block Editor simply isn’t meant for the forums (or websites in general), and whoever thought it was a good idea to bestow this upon us should consider retiring.

    The other issue is about how the post type is registered. If TSF doesn’t point the canonical URL to the intended page, something may be misconfigured or go around WordPress’s API. That ?query-arguments come into play is indicative of this.

    Thanks for the tip to disable Gutenberg here. Didn’t know that. What a relief.
