Can’t acces to admin

I placed the wordpress (org) file in my ftp file… now.. what is the next step?
I choosed my theme, but it is not installed !

To install a WordPress site, you’ll need the WordPress files and a database. These need to be setup before themes can be installed.

Yesterday I made a database with MySQL using cpanel of my hosting server.

If you go to my web adress, look the message I have:

Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I just made a cache clean up of my computer and browser…

When I try to go to admon I have this message:

Not Found

The requested URL /wp-admin was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Hi,

Please make sure that you have provided enough permissions to all the files and folders of the site.

All folders should have 755 permission and files should have 644.

Please change the permission and check again.

I looked in my cpanel for the permissions… I have all of them but I didn’t see 755 and 644.. there are only about 30
Can you tell me where do I find those permissions?

Hi Mate,

Please login to your cpanel and you can see the file/folder permission in the listing page itself.

If you are absolutely unaware where to edit the files, please contact some wordpress developers, so that they could help you without any risk.

My wordpress was not installed correctly.. I didn’t open the directory before installing !!!! that was the problem !
