• Hi everyone,

I’m trying to edit my website, but I’ve noticed that I can only access the “Pages” section from the WordPress dashboard menu. The “Appearance” option (for themes, menus, widgets, etc.) doesn’t show up at all.

I suspect this might be because my account role is set as a Contributor or Editor rather than an Administrator. Could that be the reason? And if so, how can I confirm or request admin access?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, only administrators normally have access to themes and plugins. You would need to contact the person who manages the project for you to give your user the necessary permissions.
