    Hi,
I have a problem with the editing of sensei lessons and courses. While I was editing the content of some courses when saving I am told that I do not have enough permissions to edit the lesson. This is strange as sometimes the problem resolves itself. I am administrator but even adding all the other roles I could not continue to edit the lessons and now the link for lessons and courses is not shown in sensei’s menu.
Someone who can help me? thanks

    Hello @techbyaloise,

That’s quite a strange error. Did the system return any other information along with this error message? Are you using the Classic Editor or the Block Editor?
Did you notice the issue occurred after a core/themes/plugin update or after any particular change? So many questions!

There may be something else installed on the site that’s causing problems. We’d also like to try replicating this at our end and open an issue to escalate to our tech team. To do all of this, let’s go through the following troubleshooting steps:

    • Check the PHP error logs on your web host server for any relevant errors. If you’re unsure how to check those logs, your web host can help you.
    • Check for JavaScript errors. If you’re not sure how to do that, you can follow this guide: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis
    • Verify that all your plugins are updated to their latest versions.
    • Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Sensei plugin to see if there’s a plugin conflict. If the issue is resolved with all other plugins deactivated, you can reactivate plugins one by one to discover which plugin is causing the problem.
If you can’t find a plugin, it may be the theme. Would you please try to switch the theme to one of the defaults to see if that helps?

Hope that’s all clear! I know it might look a lot of troubleshooting, and we truly appreciate your time invested in this.

Once we have more information, we might be able to figure out what’s going on, otherwise we’ll dig deeper.

Look forward to your reply, and thanks in advance for your cooperation in sorting that out with us!

    Hi there!

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
