I am having trouble accessing the SEO admin settings, it goes to the WP Admin dashboard page when I click the SEO link in WP-Admin.

I then tried to delete SEO Framework to reinstall to see if that fixes it, but I am unable to delete it. I can activate and deactivate, just not delete. I have tried deactivating all plugins and the issue persists.

It appears to be working ok on pages, but I can’t get to settings etc.

    Any help to fix please?

If no solution how do I delete the plugin manually and remove all associated data?

Sorry just noticed this post – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/cannot-enter-settings-of-seo-plugin/

Will give it a little time to see if it fixes itself.

Still a very odd issue here and maybe there needs to be a way of notifying the user that is the issue (assuming that is it).

    Hi Greg!

I’m not sure why you can’t delete the plugin; perhaps there’s a permission issue?

Since my absence, I hope the issue you were facing has resolved itself in the meantime.

I considered adding a notification as you suggested, telling that the upgrader was running — but the conveyed message might resolve concurrently as you spot it (race conditions). Since this issue is rare (~<1% of users), I’m not sure if it’d be beneficial to add a potentially confusing notice, and instead, it’d be better to handle this via support. (Rambling on…) Nevertheless, since we want to migrate the post-metadata in the future (that could be well over 50,000 posts per site), we may need to add this anyway at some point.
