Can't Access Site Admin Dashboard

I am unable to access the back end WP dashboard to either of my WP websites. The link below is to one of them. When I try to access through Chrome I get a white page that states:

This site can’t be reached
http://www.bkasen.com took too long to respond.
Search Google for blasen admin
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT</

I have cleaned my browser cache and have tried to access through Bluehost FTP site with no luck. Had Bluehost tech access with no trouble on their end. Could Broadband affect access? Having my service provider check my broadband performance tomorrow.

Don’t know if I should reinstall WP or wait to see if the increased BB performance will do the trick. I am very anxious, almost ready to publish new site for selling services and want to get going. If I reinstall I may loose everything. Please advise.

The error is after you attempt to log in here?

Ok, how do I fix? Or does someone else have to fix? I’m a novice at this.

Do you get this error after trying to login at http://www.bkasen.com/wp-admin/?

Using the file manager provided by your host rename the wp-content/plugins folder wp-content/plugins-old Then try to log in.

Yeah, great thought but can’t access my login page from the cpanel File Manager link. Cleared cache, talked to Bluehost, basically notta, nothing, zilch.

I said nothing about accessing your WP login from cPanel. You log into your account at Bluehost. Go to the file manager on cPanel. Using the file manager rename the wp-content/plugins folder wp-content/plugins-old Then try to log in to wp-admin as you normally would.

And I did that, and couldn’t access the File Manager, it timed out, as said before.

If your connection with Bluehost (and the file manager) timed out there is an internet problem. Can you try it on a different computer? What did Bluehost say about the timeout.

You site loads fine, http://www.bkasen.com/wp-login.php or http://www.bkasen.com/wp-amdin or http://www.bkasen.com

Try Chrome and before you log in press F10. Make sure that screen shows “console”. That will list any errors.

That seems about it. Everybody else can access my site (good or bad) except me. I believe it is a DNS issue, have been referred to , there server group to hopefully get this issue resolved. Comcast servers don’t seen to want to connect to Bluehost very well for some reason. Just don’t understand why this should happen now. I have been a working o my sites for weeks with no issues. Will let you know how it comes out, hopefully.

You can also try another network, like Starbucks. Good luck!
