Can’t access wp-admin after switching to HTTPS

    To resolve the issue I switched the site in the wp_options schema in my database

    Hi ethranes,

    I did exactly the same thing you did after I got my SSL cert. I then changed my URL to say https:// and now I can’t login. I’m a complete noob to WordPress. I don’t even understand the answer you posted to your own question. How do you switch the site in wp_options schema when you can’t even login? Do you have to access your database via FTP? I downloaded FileZilla, but I don’t know what to put for my credentials to gain access. Can you please help me? I’ve been messing with this all day and I can’t figure it out.
