• I am running the latest version of wordpress and I am not able to activate plugins. I am able to install them, however when I go to activate them I get the following error message:

You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.
Reason. The current user has the “activate_Plugins” capability that is required to access the “Plugins <span class=’update-plugins count-2′>2->Installed Plugins”menu item.

The two main plugins I’m trying to activate are popup maker & polylang, also I am admin. Any thoughts?

• Hello, tombbb, & welcome.

Are you logged in as another user, or is someone else logged in w/an admin account? Are you running caching on your site? What sort of hosting do you use, ie, shared, VPN, or dedicated? The answers might help us.
