• Hi,

    Two MU WordPress installs where I can activate the Wordfence firewall.

    Both websites have correct php.ini and user.ini files where they have:
    auto_prepend_file = ‘/home/username/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’

    Both websites fail to have the firewall activated.

    There is nothing in the error or debug logs.

    Help appreciated.

  • Hi,
    Please go to (Wordfence > Tools => Diagnostics) and click on “Send Report by Email” button at the top of the page, you can send the report to “alaa [at] wordfence [dot] com”, make sure to include your forum username, I will take a look at this report and let you know my findings.

    Thanks.

    Thanks, done (from both sites).

    Hi,
    I’ve received the diagnostics reports from both sites, thanks!

    On both sites, I can see auto_prepend_file has no value, so it means “wordfence-waf.php” file wasn’t loaded correctly on your server, please let me know the following:
    – Are you sure “Apache + CGI/FastCGI” was preselected during the firewall setup process?
    – Which hosting provider are you using for these sites? could you please make sure that using “.user.ini” files is supported by contacting them?

    Thanks.

    Yes, it was.

    – could you please make sure that using “.user.ini” files is supported by contacting them?

    I will do so now.
