Hi bucefalo,
In order to activate the Feed to Post add-on, you must have WP RSS Aggregator active. Please make sure it is active first, and try again.
Hi, I have just install an update of wp-rss-aggregator.
Unfortunately i’m getting the below error on the website http://www.theparentdiary.com. I have done a restore of all the plugins used as well as the theme. Any help in resolving this will be much appreciated. I use WP RSS Aggregator on 5 sites.
Warning: require_once(WPRSS_INCimage-caching.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/admintheparent/theparentdiary.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-feed-to-post/includes/wprss-ftp-images.php on line 3

Many thanks

To clarify. Im not able to load the the site at all. Therefore cannot activate WP RSS Aggregator. The plugin was active at the time of the update. I have 5 pro licenses of the plugin. Everything worked well prior to update of WP RSS Aggregator.
Hi, this error occurs when you activate Feed to Post without having the core plugin activated first. Please try deactivating or removing Feed to Post, activating the core WP RSS Aggregator plugin again, and then re-activating Feed to Post; everything should go back to normal for you.
Also, please open a new support ticket for future questions, preferably via our premium support when it involved any of our premium add-ons.
Thank you.
I had the same happen to me, it happened immediately after I updated the main plugin. It looks like the update disables the main plugin, so the add on then gets upset and displays the error.
I have submitted a support ticket for this.
Cheers,
Steve
Here is how I fixed my issue.
I accessed the site via ftp and renamed wp-rss-feed-to-post to wp-rss-feed-to-post- in the plugins folder.
I could then login, so went to Plugins and enabled WP RSS Aggregator.
Now I could rename wp-rss-feed-to-post- to wp-rss-feed-to-post via ftp.
Go back to the inactive plugins, find WP RSS Aggregator – Feed to Post and activate it.
All should be good now.
Update: As i could not access the admin panel of the site to activate WP RSS Aggregator I had to login via FTP and change the “feed to post plugin” folder name to something else. This de-activated the plugin and you will be able to get in to your admin panel. After this, activate WP RSS Aggregator & rename the feed to post plugin folder to what it was originally.. Thanks to the support team for the info
