    Hi Jetpack

Please assist, I can’t activate this plugin, every time I try I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_parse_url() in /home/xzznopsb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 5420

    Steps I have taken:

    1. I have tried to install from the wordpress plugin page.
    2. I have deleted this file via FTP and downloaded and uploaded manual.

My diskspace usage for the server is currently Disk Usage
    1.66 GB / 1.95 GB ( 85% ) would this be a problem?

Also I am using WordPress version: 4.3, will I need to update first?

Also I have tried /xmlrpc.php and that is fine.

Also I have tried deactivating my theme and plugins and still can’t activate.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

That’s indeed the source of the issue. You’ll need to run at least WordPress 4.4 to be able to use Jetpack.
