Hi. in the middle of the night, i get an error.

    Now All plugins are disabled.

I can’t reactivate WooCommerce; I keep getting an error and can’t activate it. I can’t delete WooCommerce either.

I set a default Storefront theme, but the same thing happens.

When I click “Restart,” it says “Extension resumed,” but nothing happens.

Can I delete the WooCommerce folder via FTP?

  • Hi @depannerobot,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how frustrating and concerning this type of error can be, especially since it is causing a major issue on your website.

This error typically occurs when the WooCommerce installation is corrupted or incomplete, when an update fails, or when there is a file permission or autoloader issue.

Since you are unable to delete WooCommerce from the WordPress admin, you can safely remove it directly from the root plugins folder. After deleting it, go to ww.wp.xz.cn and download a fresh copy of WooCommerce. Upload it to the plugins folder, extract it, then reactivate it. Please let me know if this resolves the issue.

If the problem continues, please share your system status report by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get Report > Copy for Support, and then upload it to Pastebin and share the link here.

I did delete the WooCommerce folder via FTP, then reinstalled and reactivated it.

No problems so far. Hopefully it will stay that way.

    Awesome @depannerobot,

I’m happy to hear you were able to follow the steps and resolve the issue. Please keep an eye on it, and if the problem returns, take note of the plugin you activated just before it happened.

For now, I’ll mark this thread as resolved. If you need any additional help, feel free to reach out and we’ll be glad to assist.

In the meantime, if you found the support provided here helpful, we would appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave a review: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/#new-post
