I’ve got a huge problem. Actually it’s 2 problems and I desperately need some help.
I’ve been doing a fair bit of work on my site with WP Reset(WPR) Activated and with each update I made to the site, the WPR snapshot began taking progressively longer and longer to complete which of course affected my ability to instal, deactivate or update plugins and other things. SO, I deactivated it in order to get about my work.
In the meantime I hired a developer to optimize my site, do the various minifications etc working with Litespeed Server and Cache. I told him I could not have any downtime so he suggested setting up a subdomain, replicating the site, making the changes and then bring it all back to the live site. Here’s where the the trouble begins.
He first noticed that the DB was 6GB – holy crap!
So, I tried to Activate the plugin to delete some of the snapshots in hopes that would decrease the size of the DB. I didnt work. Clicking activate froze the site and threw “your website as encountered internal server errors” or something like that. So, I used the emergency recovery script to deactivate WPR once again and the site came back online and accessible both to the public and through Admin panel.

Here’s the 2nd problem. The DB in myPHP admin has also ballooned out to 248mb

So I have two issues I REALLY Desperatly need help with:

    1. I need to get rid of the DB Bloat and perhaps even walk away forevermore from WPR. How can activate the plugin and get rid of all the excess?

    2. How do Decrease the DB in my PHP admin?

I’ve written twice to support through your site and all i got was crickets (silence) so I’ll try again here.

Please help me with this. None of the work I need to get done can get done because of this

    Hello? Hello?
just like the support link on your site? Someone has a real serious problem and you just retract to into silence?

I am actually one of the most positive optimistic patient and solution focused people you could meet but I cannot deny my experience.

Are you you going to help me sort out the mess I’ve got or just leave me hanging?

    Hi,
We’re experiencing a higher than usual support load and are working through tickets as fast as possible. We have your tickets in our system and will answer them ASAP.

Since your questions are related to the PRO version we can’t answer them in this forum as it’s for the free version only. Thank you for understanding.

You’ve marked this resolved – but it’s not true. I still have the same problem and I havent heard a word from anyone at @webfactory except to tell me that the ticket is resolved. My site is still hooped and I still need help.
