I have two issues here with the free version. I want to upgrade to Pro, but if I can’t solve the free version issue, not sure if Pro will solve it.

    First –

I have one feature request added. However, I can’t add a comment to it. I tried going via an Incognito window and no-go. How can someone add a comment to a topic? Even if I go into the feature page by clicking the name, there is no way to enter comments.

    Second –

It keeps my info as the person logged in. I changed the name by putting in a different user and email. It actually ended up changing the feature I had put in under my real name. That’s odd. I would expect different people to add their names and put a feature and that not changing previous feature requests by others. Yes I tried this via Incognito as well.

Appreciate your help so I can decide if I want to upgrade to Pro.

    Hi @anand951,

Our plugin uses the built-in WordPress comment system, so maybe see if your theme or some other plugin is disabling comments. Perhaps try using a standard theme like Twenty Sixteen. When I tried to view your site I kept getting a gateway error so I couldn’t see the issue myself.

On the second query, this is because we tie data to the IP address to prevent vote rigging. One of the pro features enabled multiple IP’s do you can log in and out of different user accounts more easily and perhaps more as you expect.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I checked and my WordPress allows for comments. I have installed it on a different site now – and you can see the issue there. Link

Also, I am noticing that if someone submits a feature, it actually doesn’t come through. I had a friend submit a feature earlier today – about 3 hours ago and my site doesn’t show it and it is not anywhere in the backend either. Gone! Poof! That is scary.

I really want to buy your Pro, but these issues have to be resolved. Appreciate your help.

    Hi @anand951,

I go back to what I said before. I don’t believe this is a plugin issue, but either a theme or plugin issue. Please try with the twenty sixteen theme and show me a link for that and see if comments work?

It would be unlikely an idea just disappears like that – this has never happened before. Perhaps see if you have any caching which might be interferring with things.

Also I noticed that on your board that you have set ideas to be reviewed before they are published…have you checked to see if you have actually approved the idea? This can be done by going to the all ideas page and there should be a little counter notice at the top. Thanks,
