Can’t auto-update Facebook posts?

Hi:
I need clarification re: how the Facebook feed is supposed to work.

But the feed does not refresh every day automatically – it seems to take several days. I CAN clear the cache manually which then causes the newest post to show on the website homepage so it seems setting the cache duration to one day in the shortcode does NOT cause the cache to be cleared every day automatically. What’s the point of the setting?

I see references to there being a 5-day limitation from Facebook – that Facebook won’t allow automatic feed refreshes in less than 5 days – is that correct? (The feed does eventually refresh, but not every day.)

Am I doing something wrong or is it simply that Facebook won’t allow feeds to refresh automatically in less than 5 days? I need to tell my client if that’s the case. Then they can decide whether to do manual cache clearings or just live with the limitation.

Also – does your premium version deal with this limitation?
