I’m unable to connect my site https://ad70.se to Jetpack. When I click on the “Set Up Jetpack” button, I receive the error message: “An error occurred. Please try again.” I have tried most things like turn of other plugins, try differnt themes, but I can’t seem to find a way forward. I thought (and hoped) that the issue was a incorrect linking in “linked bloggs” to the old address t.ad70.se, but it seems that’s not the case. Do you have any suggestions on how I can get Jetpack up and running?

    Hi @sofiaasklund

After running some tests, it looks like there may be an outdated or incorrect security token on your site causing this problem.

To fix this issue, can you please deactivate and delete Jetpack entirely, and then reinstall it, as described here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reinstalling-jetpack

Please note you shouldn’t lose any data (including stats and followers), but your settings will be reset so you’ll need to set them again after reinstalling and reconnecting.

Let us know if that helps!

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your assistance and for the direction provided. I appreciate the support you’ve given regarding the basic Jetpack connection issues. Following your recommendation, I will reach out to the Jetpack support team directly for further help with this particular issue.

I also take note of the advice on setting up Google Ads once Jetpack is functional, and I’ll be sure to follow the guidance provided or consider using “Site Kit by Google” as suggested.

Thank you once again for your time and help.

    Best regards,

    Tjing!
    Sofia Asklund
