    I’m trying to connect my Adsense account to Google Site Kit, I keep getting this message:

    “Create an AdMob account, then open AdSense and try to upgrade.”

    I already have an AdMob account for a mobile application and I have an Adsense account where I can see my AdMob analytics. Even though I already have an account, this message brings me to the Admob sign in page, I sign in and nothing happens in Site Kit.

  • @aamabile001 thanks for opening a support topic. It sounds like you need to apply for an upgrade to your Adsense account in order to serve ads on your website. You’ll need to do this on the Adsense platform actually (I’ll confer with the team about updating this message).

    Site Kit can also insert the code to connect your site to Adsense. After you complete the steps, could you then reset the Adsense connection:

    1) Disconnecting Adsense:

    Settings > Adsense > Edit > Disconnect Adsense from Site Kit

    2) Then reconnecting Adsense by going to:

    Settings > Connect More Services > Set up Adsense and continuing the connection with the option to let Site Kit insert the code for you toggled on.

    I’d be happy to check your site to confirm that the Adsense code is correctly placed.

    I needed to add the URL to the URL channel list. I didn’t see anything in my account that said “AdSense for content.”

    @aamabile001 thanks for your reply. I currently still don’t see the Adsense code added to the site, but let me confer with the team about your case. Are you able to provide a screenshot of your settings under Admob in Adsense? Thank you!

    @aamabile001 Do the problems you were encountering with the AdSense module remain? If so can you attempt enabling the module again and we can check that Site Kit has placed the code on your site.
